This is more brief and less descriptive compared to my usual writing but hey ho, I have to keep it short. I love all the songs wholeheartedly and it’s so difficult to put into a list but I thought I’d give it a go anyway. Lana has an extensive collection of unreleased songs, and these are my personal, in my own opinion, top 10 favourites. mine lana del rey lizzy grant lana del rey songs lana del rey lyrics lana del rey unreleased lizzy grant songs lizzy grant lyrics lizzy grant unreleased songs lyrics unreleased song vibes vibes song aesthetic aesthetic writing cherry-interlude fordham road disco let my hair down trash magic wayamaya strangelove heavy hitter girl that got away hundred dollar bill party girl st tropez Party Girl - Swinging on a dance floor in a huge crowd all through the sparkling night, music blasting until it fills your blood, everyone having a good time and diving into pools to splash one another laughing loudly, clustered at the bar and winking for drinks, blotting make up in the bathrooms before heading back out the dance floor and ignoring every man who tries to get too close. Hundred Dollar Bill - Bright green notes tucked in your bag, heels sky high, dark, tight dresses and a hand around a gun, sitting on someone’s lap and making out with them until lips are swollen and stinging, sitting in a large, leather office chair and swinging around calmly, filing your nails, a crystal glass of gin on the desk before you. Girl That Got Away - Pale pink, sugary clothes, bright red lipsticks in your mouth, calling him up to tease him before blasting rock music and smoking out the window, dancing around the room in barely any clothes, curled hair and bambi eyes. Heavy Hitter - Swimming in a red and gold bikini, floating along the water with your head high to not touch the lipstick and eye shadow, a man in a suit watching, dripping wet as you go with him inside to fill the room with smoke, kaleidoscope colours blooming every time you shut your eyes. Strangelove - The night sky torn with bright yellow and unsettled orange, a fast car speeding along a winding black road away from a tiny bar in the middle of nowhere, driving around with no direction before parking on the side of the empty road and making out whilst the radio stutters. Wayamaya - Watching the surfers on the rolling waves in Hawaii, sunbathing and rushing about in the sand laughing with friends, walking along the shore and letting the water run over you, the sun beating down warmly and red and yellow flowers everywhere. Trash Magic - Sitting neatly on a white bed of a motel, wearing cute shorts and flowers in your hair, bright red lipstick and rings on every finger, painting your nails before kneeling up for him and letting him ruin the red on your lips, the blinds drawn in the middle of the day, taking a cooling bath with the flowers sitting on the surface. Let My Hair Down - A small, smoke filled room with ugly dark green wallpaper and a battered sofa, drinks bottles covering the low table and the ground, a couple of guys playing the guitar whilst stoned, their long hair shaking as they bob their head, letting your own hair down and dancing to it listlessly all around the poky house. I don’t know if I’ll do all of them.įordham Road - Wandering the streets on a bright yet cold day, bomber jacket hanging from your shoulders, it’s quiet aside from the crisp rustle of leaves and swish of trees, perching on a red brick wall with the bricks digging into the backs of your thighs, watching the clouds drift by with a fizzy drink on your tongue.ĭisco - A lone dance on a dimly lit, empty stage, only one person in the seats watching, glitter speckling the floor and glinting in the lights as well as catching in the glow on your skin, wearing bright white and shining blue, swinging loosely around a pole and lazily tilting your head back. I’ve already done the song aesthetics of all the Lana Del Rey albums so I thought I’d do the unreleased songs too because I love them too much.
